Organize A Birthday Party For Your Child Without Blowing Your Budget
Parents would always want to throw an unforgettable party for their kids, and one of the commonly used methods is to build one around a particular theme or motif, a teddy bear party for example. The great thing about a teddy bear party is that it is easy to pull off, considering that there are so many bear-themed party favors and decors available today, both on the Internet and from local party rental stores.
Then again, overspending is always a possibility when organizing themed events. Sometimes our desire to give our young one and her guests a grand time clouds our judgment and we end up buying stuff and getting services that are too expensive, or simply don’t need at all. Hence, before you build a bear party, you should establish a budget and stick with it.
It is possible to build a bear party without spending too much. For instance, instead of buying invitation cards, you can make them yourself. You can print out bear shapes on a cardboard, cut them out and write event particulars at the back.
In addition to invitations, there are a few more things you should remember when organizing an event. Decorations are one of them. Decorating with balloons is festive and is not that expensive. At the same time, the young guests can take the balloons home after the event, aside of course from other party favors.
Having the guests come in costumes are customary in most theme parties. However, if you are hoping to save money, you can leave this option out. Instead, you can just tell them to wear something comfortable so they can participate in the games and just hand out bear masks during the party. You can also use these masks as a fun activity by having a station where the kids can personalize them.
No teddy bear party would be complete without a cake shaped like a bear. Carbs have always been a budget party organizer’s best friend. Spaghetti, croquettes, and sliders are always a hit among children. Lastly, your gift to your kid should also be in line with the theme. A new teddy bear placed inside a see-through balloon will surely paint a smile on your kid’s face.
