Grand Prix Or Grand Pricks What's The Right Term
I'm really not hot for the Grand Prix and indeed when I was younger I really nick-named the event the "Grand Pricks". I guess that speaks volumes about what I actually thought. Truthfully, I'm not keen on sport generally. I suspect it is usually because I live in a house chock full of men who think the world has to stop spinning while they watch "the match". Consequently this Saturday has been my nightmare scenario with the rugby on Sat. and the Grand Prix on Sunday. I understood the exaggeration for the rugby and I felt a bit disappointed for Wales however I can't pretend to enjoy the Grand Prix and I haven't any concept what it is all about!
According to WIKI - The Grand Prix motor racing has its roots in organised as that began in France as far back as 1894 we also know it as the Formula 1 racing cars I might have guessed the French had something to do with it. The event began with used cars Sussex being tested for durability by driving from place to place. As the vehicles were tested on open roads there were frequently accidents and so eventually the races were taken onto a personal course.
So this weekend was the Grand Prix in Korea. Who won? Reputedly it was won by a gentleman named Sebastian Vettel who beat Lewis Hamilton by a debatable win.
While I may never become a fan of the event at least I know a touch more about its origins then I did before and next time there is a trivia question on the radio about the Grand Prix Korea 2011, I'll know the answer.
And again I am asking all, What's the proper way to claim, Grand Prix or Grand Pricks anyone can offer me the answer.
Since 1936 Dinnages is a respectable used vehicle dealership found at Sussex , to get more information on used cars Sussex link here
